Literary Lockdown: Digital Round Up

Hello Readers!

We thought you might like some free online readings in this time of STAY-AT-HOME crisis and with that in mind, here are some videos and podcasts and recordings that have recently featured our authors and can be watched or listened to again...

ROBERTO PASTORE

The first of the Seren Cardiff Poetry Festival podcasts by @talkinginkpod is now available to listen to on Spotify and Sound Cloud. In this episode Lucy Smith talks to Roberto Pastore about his debut collection Hey Bert and about ways to find happiness.

CHRISTINA THATCHER

Releasing a new book in is nerve-racking at the best of times, releasing a book in April in a pandemic... still Christina Thatcher has been busy offering readings from her new second collection of poetry How to Carry Fire online and here are her most recent ones that are still accessible. Have a watch, have a listen, show your support!

Christina read as part of Wales Arts Reviews' Digithon which also featured readings by Tristan Hughes (Shattercone, Parthian, 2020) and Richard Owain Roberts (Hello Friend We Missed You, Parthian, 2020).

Sofa Share Wales:

Christina has also recorded one poem for the #InternationalPoetryCircle and there is an episode on How to Carry Fire now up on the Poetry Non-Stop podcast while you can still listen again to the Radio Wales Arts Show where she was a recent guest.

You can buy How to Carry Fire from us for £9 and free P&P.

KATE NORTH

Kate shared poems from The Way Out in her recent Sofa Stage Wales session, which you can watch again here.

Remember you can also still order our books direct from us with free P&P or from gwales.com where you can also nominate your favourite bookshop to get their usual fee.

Happy viewing / listening / reading folks!

Take care,

Team Parthian x
