We've been cooking up some exciting plans for the beginning of the festive season... For the first time, Canton, Cardiff, is going to have it's own Book Festival, with adult and children's events running throughout the weekend at Chapter, St Canna's and Canton Library. This year marks 30 years since the Velvet Revolution of Slovakia, and 26 since it gained independence. In the UK, much of Slovakia's rich and fascinating culture remains untapped, and we agree that this needs changing. Having published Uršuľa Kovalyk’s brilliant collection The Night Circus and other stories earlier this year, we are thrilled to take part in a UK-wide events programme celebrating Slovak arts and literature.
