A companion book to the bestselling war memoir, A Raid Over Berlin that shows the Second World War from Omaha Beach to Battle of the Bulge.

My army number is 32812865 and I will remember it until the day that I die.

Clifford Guard spent 11 months dodging gunfire, disarming landmines and liberating towns as his regiment helped drive the Nazi Army from France.

GI Limey is a story about the bond that keeps soldiers together, through the danger of combat and the decades after. In this honest account, Clifford Guard examines how war shaped his identity, one defined by two allied countries an ocean apart.
